“We were picked up at the hotel by our guide and driver. We got on really well from the start and enjoyed Pauls company and conversation. Rundale Palace was amazing, we were happy to visit out of season as there were no crowds and we could take our time to take photos. We ate the potato pancakes in the restaurant and a piece of Chocolate cake before finishing off with some Cherry Balsam. Hill of Crosses was interesting, we had a walk around and purchased a cross at the local stall and left it on the hill before leaving.”

Gave a lot of information about life in the region. The Hill of Crosses is an out of the way place in Lithuania but a short drive from where we were staying in Riga, Latvia. As you might expect, it was very windy and chilly on the hill. When you look at all of the crosses, though, you can see so many stories that are surely captured there. Highly recommend taking this tour.”
